CONVEYANCING (Please note this firm is not required to be VAT registered)
Sale of Property (Price range depends on whether transaction is smooth, or if any complexity arises, based on an hourly rate of £300ph no VAT is charged)
  • Freehold From £1,199.00 to £1,449.00 plus disbursements which may attract VAT at the current rate of 20% (such as HMLR fees from £100 to £200, postage & photocopying fees £50-£75, third party expert/survey (approx. £1500) or/insurance fees (approx. £100-£200).This applies to all disbursements below.
  • Leasehold (private) From £1,399.00 to £1,499.00 plus disbursements (similar to above)
  • Leasehold (local authority) £1,399.00 to £1,499.00 plus disbursements (similar to above)
Purchase of Property (Price range depends on whether transaction is smooth, or if any complexity arises, based on an hourly rate of £300ph no VAT is charged)

WILLS

  • Simple Will – £299.00
  • Personalised Will – £499.00

EMPLOYMENT – (cases can take up to 6-12 months to be heard before the Tribunal before being concluded)
  • A fixed fee of £3,500.00, to include all preparation relating to filing your application before the Employment Tribunal including all pre hearing directions, excluding disbursements such as the cost of a barrister to represent you on the day of your hearing (approx. £500-£750 plus vat per day). Preparation can last anywhere to one to three months before a hearing date is fixed. Some hearings can last up to 3 days, sometimes more but rarely more than 1-2 weeks. This does not include the separate cost of any further appeal or challenge against the Tribunals decision of which you will be provided a cost estimate depending on the issues that may arise.

FAMILY

  • Uncontested Divorce – £950.00
  • Contested Divorce – £350.00 per hour – price range usually £5,000.00-£30,000.00
  • Financial Consent Orders – price range usually £1,500.00 to £2,000.00
  • Child Contact/Separation/Pre-nuptial Agreements price range usually – £1,500.00 – £7,500.00

Other Work

  • Change of Name Deed – £199.00
  • Drafting Personalised Deeds/Contracts – £300.00 to £350.00 per hour
  • Landlord & Tenant Disputes – £325 per hour 
  • Advice on Disputes – £175.00 per half hour

LICENSING  (To include one paper application with all supplied evidence only) (Price range depends on whether transaction is smooth, or if any complexity arises, based on an hourly rate of £300ph no VAT charged)
  • Premises License £1,999.00 – £2,500.00
  • Personal License £1500.00 – £1950.00
  • Power of Attorney – £295.00  – £499.00

CRIMINAL AND CIVIL WORK RATES
  • £300.00 to £350.00 per hour depending on issue, and complexity

ROAD TRAFFIC MATTERS  

  • Representation including advice and assistance – fixed fee £999.00 plus disbursements such as barristers fee (from £350 to £500 plus vat per day), postage and photocopying costs approx. £50-£75

This is designed to assist all clients seeking legal advice, help and representation and those motoring cases which can only be tried in the Magistrates’ Court but not in the Crown Court, (known as summary only matters).

This includes:

  • Careless driving
  • Drink driving
  • Drug driving
  • Speeding
  • Using your mobile phone whilst driving

We will provide you with:-

  1. The total costs where possible of our fees where the work can be undertaken in a summary only motoring offence case, but where that is not possible, we will provide a range of costs.
  2. Details of disbursements which you might incur and which might include, for example, Forensic Expert approx. cost £1200.00 plus vat in Drink Drive case, as well as those mentioned above  These are in addition to our fees.
  3. How and when the fees should be paid.

Where VAT is payable, it is charged at the current rate of 20%.
